Technical SEO Priority Scorer
Work through the checklist below, checking any issues that apply to your site. When you hit Get my priority list, you will receive a score out of 100 and a prioritised action list — the issues most likely to be limiting your organic performance, ranked by impact, each with a specific fix.
The tool covers the five core areas of technical SEO: crawlability and indexation, indexation quality, site architecture and internal linking, page speed and Core Web Vitals, and on-page technical signals. It takes around three to five minutes to complete.
Check any issues that apply to your site. You will not see impact labels until you submit — this keeps the assessment honest. When you are done, hit Get my priority list to receive your score and a prioritised action plan.
How to use your results
The priority list works from the top down. Critical issues — those most likely to be preventing pages from being crawled or indexed at all — come first regardless of how many you have. High-impact issues follow, then medium-priority improvements.
A useful approach is to address items in order rather than tackling the easiest ones first. Fixing a medium-priority issue before a critical one is unlikely to produce meaningful ranking improvements, because the critical issue is a structural blocker that limits the impact of everything else.
If your score is high and you are still not ranking where you should be, the limiting factor is more likely content depth, topical authority, or link acquisition rather than technical foundations. The technical SEO guide covers what each area involves and what fixing it looks like in practice.
What this tool does not cover
This tool covers the most common technical SEO issues but is not a substitute for a full site audit. It does not analyse your specific pages, crawl your site, or access any data about your rankings or traffic. It is a structured diagnostic checklist — the accuracy of the output depends on how accurately you assess your own site against each question.
For a comprehensive analysis of what is specifically limiting your site — with findings based on actual crawl data, Google Search Console analysis, and a prioritised action plan — a professional technical SEO audit goes significantly further. A free initial consultation is available to discuss whether an audit is the right starting point for your situation.
